I met Doug when he was AMSAT President and I was arranging the forums for the Dayton Hamvention. More recently, I worked with him again to set up the weather balloon launches at Dayton. He was one of the nicest and easiest to work with persons I have ever had the pleasure to know. He was also quite knowledgeable but modest about it. So disappointing to lose him so soon.
