Such a good friend and supporter!
Ann and I met at Jim's and my school reunion and we shared many. Then we ran into each other when we were both being treated at MD Anderson. For the last 5 years we've grown so close. She has been so encouraging to me! When my mom passed away the following quote found me: "How long does a man live? Is it as long as you can touch him or is it as long as he touches you?" That quote helped me to realize that I never had to give up Mom; only her body is gone. Mom and Ann will always be with me. I thank God for Ann in my life and because I can still feel her holding my hand as I move through life.
