Obituary for Mildred Patricia Dewese (Boren)
Mildred Boren Dewese, 85, of Paris, passed away Saturday March 24, 2018 at Stillhouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Paris, Texas. Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors will conduct funeral services 11:00 A.M. Tuesday March 27, 2018 in the Gene Roden Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
A time of visitation will take place one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Called to serve as pallbearers are Willard Dewese, Roger Kelley, Robert Mora, and Drew Little.
Mildred was born March 21st, 1933 to Bertha Mae Baxley and John H. Boren in Blossom, Texas. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Paris, Texas where she sang in the choir and enjoyed working with their youth. She was the consummate housewife and bookkeeper. She loved to travel, cook, and spending time with friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Dewese, her parents, and a brother.
She is survived by a daughter, Dania Dewese; sisters, Mary Louise Boren and Lorene Carter; as well as a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests donations be made in Mildred’s memory to The Gideons International Processing Center P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251
