Frances Leon Ervin, age 83, of Paris passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Services are set for 1:00 pm Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the Gene Roden Memorial Chapel of Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors with a time of visitation beginning 1 hour prior to services. Pastor Casey Rogers will officiate and interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.

Frances was born December 15, 1934 in Giles, Texas to Horton and Eunice White Gentry. She was a very loving person and was considered a people person and was always pleasant, this worked well for her as she worked as a caregiver during her working years. She will be remembered for being a very good cook.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Jack Ervin of the home; children, Kathy Stanley of Bonham, Billy Wilks, of Merkel, and Patricia Silmon of Bonham; step-children, Richard Ervin of Paris, Terry Ervin of Powderly, and Linette Denney of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Jamie Reed, Jeremy Silmon, Donna Hasley, James Day, Donald Day, Ashley Rogers, Cameron Denney, and Connor Denney; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
