Obituary for Jerry William "Butch" McEntyre
Jerry William “Butch” McEntyre, age 74, of Paris, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Paris. He was born March 23, 1943 in Paris to Herman and Nannie Leona (Roberts) McEntyre. He married the former Helen Harcrow on November 6, 1988 in Dallas.
A time of visitation with the family will take place Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Roden-Pryor Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Gene Roden Memorial Chapel at the funeral home.
Jerry was a very hardworking man who loved to travel, garden, and work around the house. He cherished his family, especially his beloved wife, Helen. He retired from Campbell Soup as an Inspector/Guard and owned his own carpet cleaning business.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gary McEntyre, and a son, William Chad McEntyre. He is survived by his wife, Helen McEntyre; son, James Thad McEntyre; step-children, Carlos Diaz, Sherry Buchanan, and Angie Mesih; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family members.
