Obituary for Hubert (Junior) C. Reaves Jr.
Hubert Charles Reaves, Jr., known as Junior, age 91, of Paris, Texas passed away quietly on the evening of November 10, 2017 in Paris. He was born June 21, 1926 in Lamar County, Texas to Hubert Charles Reaves, Sr. and Pearlie Evergreen Fisher Reaves. Junior was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War 2. He operated Reaves Cafe for many years, following in the footsteps of his father and mother. Later in life, he became a plumber, a career he enjoyed well into his 70's.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Helen, and a step-daughter, Deborah Boswell. Survivors include his son, Gerry Reaves and wife, Jeanette; 3 step-sons, Barry Boswell, Dennis Boswell, & Dale Wayne Boswell; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery in Paris with Barry Boswell and Pastor Michael Redus officiating.
