STELLA FAYE VAUGHAN, 61, of Paris, died at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday December 6, 2006 at her residence. Private viewing and cremation arrangements were accorded by Starrett-Rose Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vaughan was born February 22, 1945 in Roxton, the daughter of Charlie and Alva Myers Thompson. She attended Roxton schools, where she played basketball. Stella was a homemaker, a loving mother, and grandmother to Samantha and Willie, who were the joy of her life.

She married Albert Vaughan, who preceded her in death in 1999.

Stella is survived by four daughters, Debra Stuart, of Wilmington, NC, Sherry Cason, of Paris, Karen Frazier, of Naples, and Becky Crump, of Paris; three sons, David Frazier, of Cedartown, GA, Timmy “Bobo” Frazier, of Dallas and Mark Vaughan, of Cooper; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Thompson and Billy Jack Thompson, both of Paris; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two brothers, Jimmy Thompson and Harold Thompson.
