Obituary for Minnie Epperson

MINNIE DENNIS EPPERSON, 86, of Paris, passed from this life on Monday December 14, 2009 in Paris. Following cremation arrangements by Starrett Funeral Home, a memorial service will be held on Monday December 21, 2009 at Candlewood Chapel in Midwest City, Oklahoma, with Rev. Larry Hunter officiating.

Mrs. Epperson was born October 30, 1923 in Tishamingo, Oklahoma, a daughter of Jess E. and Leona Long Wood. She was a longtime office manager for T G & Y stores. She married Kenneth Epperson on January 2, 1942 in Oklahoma City, and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1986.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Coffey, of Paris; a son, Rodney Epperson, of Kerrville; four grandchildren, Kenda Brown, Dan Epperson, Jerred Epperson, and Zach Callaway and wife Rori; two great-grandchildren, Trevor Callaway and Lexte Brown; and a brother, Steve Wood, of Oklahoma City.
