The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wendy Jones can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Memories

20 plus years of friendship..where do you start? Wendy started working at Wards and she, Tonda and I became the bestest of friends. We considered and called ourselves sisters. I called her my Winnie Pooh and she called me Shell- Bell. If you saw one of us you usually saw all 3 of us. We were always pranking our beloved co workers and customers at Wards. From syrup on coffee handles to salt in the coffee, cutting a hole in Jim Coplands pancakes to butter under the bus tub handles...there was always something we were up to. If one of us had a bad day the we were there for each other. We've dried each other's tears, we made each other laugh. We loved each other like there was no tomorrow. We had the best coffee dates at Wards or one of our houses that lasted for hours!! Sure we worked together all day but when it was time to get off work we stuck around to visit. Wendy was so kind and caring. A beatiful lady inside and out. She always made time for others. On my birthdays she always brought me a tub of chocolate frosting because she knew I wouldn't eat the cake. Wendy I'm gonna miss you sooo much. I'll cherish every moment that we had together my sweet dear sister. I loved you then, I love you now, I'll love you forever and always Give your momma and grandpa Red a big ole hug from me. I'll see you again when I'm called home.
