Obituary for Ronald Keith "Ronnie" Flanary
Ronald “Ronnie” Keith Flanary, age 67, of Paris passed away in the early hours of Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Paris. Services will be 10:00 am Monday, August 20, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Paris, interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Powderly. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors.
Ronnie was born to Donald Hubert and Alene Hammock Flanary on December 18, 1950 in Texarkana, AR. He married the former Rhonda Joyce Teague on December 15, 2006. He was an engineering draftsman for the city of The Colony and later worked at Trees, Inc. Ronnie also worked as a roadie for Vince Vance and the Valiants for a couple of years. He was an avid motorcyclist, getting right back on after nearly losing his life in an accident. Ronnie was a die hard Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. He absolutely loved his granddog, JayJay. He was a member of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity during his time at Texas A&M and was also a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Flanary and a brother, Jon Flanary. He leaves behind his wife, Rhonda Flanary; a son, Joshua Flanary; a daughter, Sarah Hope Flanary; step-son, Ryan Booth; step-daughter, Reagan Booth; his mother, Alene Flanary; and a brother, Don Flanary.
In lieu of the usual remembrances, donations in Ronnie's name can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
