Obituary for Georgia Ann Haley

The angels are rejoicing today, as one of their own has come back to join them, while we
earthbound mortals mourn the loss of a beautiful light in our lives.

Georgia Ann Haley left us on May 23rd, 2018. She was born in Deport, TX on March 24, 1948 to Wallace Ansel and Minnie Lou Thompson. She was raised in the Deport area and, after wedding her high school sweetheart, Ronnie Allen, moved to West Texas where she worked mainly in motel management. Georgia returned to the Paris area and, after losing her husband, worked in home health care. She met Roger Haley in June 2000 and they wed in August 2001. From then on, she worked with Roger in the trucking business and, later, their start-up construction company, H & H Construction.

Georgia loved every moment of every precious day. Riding the "big truck" and seeing all the sights throughout the country was a joy to her. They, and their companion Lhasa Apso, Lexie, saw the country from coast to coast, and she thrived on it.

Georgia was a blessing to all who knew her. Her smile could fill your heart with happiness, and she wore it always. She was a bright spot in the lives of all so many, and Nana to every young person she met.
Her warmth, her loving kindness, and her sweet nature touched many, and they all gained from it. She will be missed by many, but we rest in the knowledge that her faith has led her home where she may dance with the angels she so loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronnie, and her daughter, Shawn Clark.

She left behind, to meet later, her husband, Roger, her daughter, Sandie Quisenberry; her adopted - in love – sons Roger Haley, Jr., Christopher Haley, and Allen Chennault and wife Angel. She also left many beloved grandchildren, Joey Allen and wife, Jennifer; Jenny Stubba and husband Richard, Ryan Haley, Jonathon Haley, Charleigh Haley, and Colton Haley, also LeeAnn and Allen J. Chennault along with several great-grandchildren: Lynlee, Layton, Ava, Landon, and Carder.

This page wouldn't hold the names of those who called her "Nana" and were always willing to come by for hugs and kind words from her. Georgia was such a blessing to all who knew and loved her and will leave a void in many lives. Wife, Mother, Nana, and friend, she was literally an angel on earth.

Visitation will be Thursday at Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors at 4 PM followed by a memorial service at 4:30 PM
