Obituary for William Alan Lester

William Alan  Lester
William Alan Lester, age 44, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Graveside services have been set for Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hopewell Cemetery with Pastor Greg and Lori Halley and Assistant Pastor Stephen Shain of Victory Life Church of Hugo officiating. A time of visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors. Pallbearers will be Sammy Burchinal, Spencer Burchinal, Casey Davis, Gary Sessums, Nathan Sessums, Rickey Sisson, George Hignight, as well as the “Joel 3:10 Life Group.

William was born January 16, 1974 in Paris, Texas to Billy Mack and Carolyn Lenore Winkles Lester. He drove a truck most of his life, as well as owning and running “One Man's Junk” store in Paris. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be missed by many.

William was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, an aunt, Beck McCool, a grandson, Tony Wallace, Jr., and a granddaughter, Bonnie Louise Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Louise; two daughters, Katie Lester & Sara Wallace and husband, Tony; His stepmother, Darlene Lester; four sisters, Neva Sessums and husband, Gary, Felicia Sisson and husband, Rickey, Debbie Wiley and husband, Robert, Ashley Burchinal and husband, Sammy; one brother, Billy Lester, Jr.(Scooter); two grandchildren, Miko and Ziethan Wallace. Other family members include Jimmy Newberry and wife, Casey & their two children, Brayden and Ashlynn. Nephews, Nathan Sessums, Spencer Burchinal, Braeden Sisson, Bradley Lester, and Christopher Lusk. Nieces, Temperance Burchinal, Haley Sisson, Courtney Wolfe & children, Shawna Sessums and son, Brittany Lester and son.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions to assist with final expenses would be appreciated.
