Obituary for Jimmy Ray Haley Sr.
Jimmy Ray Haley, Sr., age 71, passed into eternal rest in the early hours of Monday, April 9, 2018 at his home in Quinlan, Texas. Services have been set for 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the Gene Roden Memorial Chapel of Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors with Rev. Jimmy Haley, Jr. officiating. A time of visitation will be 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 also at the funeral home.
Jimmy Ray was born November 14, 1946 in Paris, Texas to James Wesley and Geraldine (Beard) Haley. He was a talented mechanic and worked on anything and everything. He was an ordained deacon in the Baptist church. He will be remembered as a good husband, father, and grandfather by his loving family who will miss him.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Steven Haley; three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Linda Haley; two sons, Jimmy Haley, Jr. and wife, Martha, and Johnny Haley; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; two brothers, J.D. Haley and wife, Linda, and Wesley Haley; one sister, Pat Raymond and husband, Dan.
