Obituary for James Stanley Hardy
James Stanley Hardy, age 60, of Paris, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. Stan was born October 1, 1957 to Marshall and Mae Shafer of Gilmer. He was later adopted by E.G. Hardy after his father’s passing. A time of memories with family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Roden-Pryor Funeral Home in Paris, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
Anyone that knew Stan knows he never met a stranger. From the many years in the Oil and Gas industry to working at Walmart in Bonham and Home Depot in Terrell he has had the unique opportunity to meet people from all over the country. He always had a way of relating to people and has left behind a legacy which will carry on through all the lives he touched.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hardy; son, Jason and Lorie Hardy; daughter, Katrina and Hank Sanders; grandchildren, Haylee Hardy, Jadyn & Piper Sanders; brother-in-law, Jimmy and Kathy Gann of Paris; sisters-in-law, Shawna and Wade Blake of Powderly and Susan and Raul Villarreal of Richmond TX; brother, Mark and Christi Hardy; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
