Died September 17th , peacefully at home
Born in Gyor, Hungary.
Emigrated in 1956 during the Hungarian Revolution with her husband. She later went on to establish the Hungarian Kapistran Music Ensemble in Winnipeg, and later ensembles in Windsor Canada and Detroit Michigan. She actively cultivated Hungarian folk music in a cooperative effort with the Hungarian Cultrural Ministry. She was also active in church liturgical choir and became an accomplished organist. A liturgical musician most of her life, music filled her soul.
She will be sadly missed by her three children George, Gabrielle, Peter, and husband of 60 years Tibor.
