Mary Elizabeth McComb, age 75, of Paris, Texas passed into eternity on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 at her home in Paris. She was born June 15, 1942 in Parsons, Kansas to Vernon Clyde and Mary Maxine (Carter) Shields.

Mary was raised in Parsons and Pittsburg, Kansas and later moved to California where she finished high school. She retired after working 19 years as a traffic clerk in the Compton, CA court system.

She loved to go dancing and will be remembered for her love of wearing high healed shoes. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She married Howard McComb in 2001.

She is survived by her husband, Howard McComb; 3 daughters, Tammy Bailey, Julie Hawkins, and Mindy Salcido; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Deana Maurer.
