Condolence: I was so sad to hear of Mike's passing. A man of good character, genuine, and so nice. Growing up, we loved hanging out with the Jacks. Such a sweet family, and my heart goes out to all of you.

Condolence: My heart was so heavy to hear of Mike's cancer journey and passing. We grew up together on Hubbard Street starting at age 6, and spent many days roaming our neighborhood, attending FBC, and ultimately, graduating from PHS. We shared so many funny and fond memories, and always enjoyed reminiscing when we visited. He had a smile "as big as Texas." I will always be honored to say that "Arnie" was my dear friend. I know that he is now celebrating in Heaven with his sweet parents. My thoughts and prayers are with Vivien, his children,Susan and Diane.

Condolence: Dear Vivian, children, sisters and family--
There are many characteristics that 'are' Mike Jack. But the one that always greeted me was that ear-to-ear smile and a welcomed hug. Our friendship goes back over 50 years to East Paris Elementary School and his legacy and servant's heart will always be with me. I'll remember our times in the Blue Blazes Band, Stage Band and just being part of the 'band family.' I had the extreme pleasure of playing golf with him during my class' reunion one year when we were in need of a pick-up player or two...needless to say, we had the 'ringer'!
I was blessed to see him live out his faith and desire to help others when our son and his family packed up and moved from Arlington, TX to Atlanta, GA in 2012. Once Arnie heard about the move, he was quick to offer boxes for packing of all sizes and shapes. I know there had to be at least a 100 in his first deliver. Without being requested, he and Vivian returned with another load just in case they were needed--and they were.
I can't think of the 14th chapter of John when Jesus is giving comfort to his disciples. I know Arnie shared these thoughts with each of you, maybe not in word, but in deed. If we know anything we know our Heavenly Father will keep his promise to his children.
Rest on Him who cares for you. Today and in the days ahead, may your lives be filled with the wonderful memories Arnie created for you and all of us...and even in the darkest of days, his smile will brighten your way. In Christian love, Derald (and Lesa) Bulls

Condolence: I meet Mike back in the mid 80's when he was working for Guest Paper. Our friendship and working relationship continued to grow with his move to Pollock Packaging when I was at Rock-Tenn in Greenville. After leaving Greenville Mike and I continued our friendship and relationship at Paris Packaging. I can say with the deepest conviction that Mike was a true professional as a sales person, but the what made Mike the proudest was his family. You could tell the love he had for all you in his words and actions during the time we would talk about our families.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Condolence: Arnie lived 2 doors down from my family when we moved to Paris in 1968. Mike got me hooked on golf around the time I was 10 years old by hitting plastic golf balls around his yard. I've been playing ever since and Mike was my first teacher and friend in golf. I will be forever in your debt Arnie.
