Obituary for Maggie Broussard
Margaret Ann “Maggie” Broussard, age 64, of Paris passed away in Denton, Texas on Thursday, October 12, 2017. She was born June 16, 1953 in Abbeville, Louisiana to Ovide Augustine Broussard III and Myrtice Ann (Herbert) Broussard.
A memorial service and visitation time will take place at 1:00 pm Sunday, October 15, 2017 in the Gene Roden Memorial Chapel of Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors.
Maggie was a very plain spoken and adventurous woman. Her passion was cooking and she was well known for those abilities, even having had her own restaurant at one time.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clifford “Skippy” Broussard. Surviving her are a brother, Richard Broussard and partner, Caryn Cramer of Plano, TX; step-sisters, Virginia Louise Broussard of Lafayette, LA and Susan Brasseux of Abbeville, LA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
