Condolence: To Velma's family:
Know that our prayers go out to each of you at this time in rememberance of Miss Velma. I, (Donna) has fond memories of bowling with your mom & my mother (Barbara) back in the early 1970's at the Paris Lanes out on N. Main St. We had a ball and enjoyed all the "good times" back in those days. Keep Jesus as your comforter...He's the only way to have real "peace within" by accepting His one and only Salvation (Rom 10:9-13). Velma was a fond sister-in-Christ as I also was a member of the same church when I lived in Paris before moving to East Texas in the late 1970's. To God be the Glory thru His precious and only son, Jesus Christ!

Condolence: Jack, I just wanted to tell you what a sweet Mother you had. When our daughter was dying from cancer in 1991 and was in ICU for 3 weeks Ms. Velma was at the hospital each day to visit and bring snacks and word of cheer and comfort. She had been our daughter's Sunday Scool teacher. What a wonderful dear dear person she was. When I saw this obituary I called my daughter in Colorado acand we shared joyful tears for Ms. Velma's home going. May the Lord bless you and comfort you in the days and weeks ahead.
