Condolences

Condolence From: Keith & Donna (Sanders) Blanton
Condolence: To Myron, Tim & all the families:
We are so sorry to hear about your father passing away recently. It's been a long time since we lived behind ya'll when you lived in Paris on 31st NW St...boy, we had some fond memories as kids playing around the neighborhood for so many years. Please know that our prayers go out to each of you, as well as your mother. I (Donna) live down in East Texas and haven't seen ya'll for a long time. I do get to visit with James McClarty since we engage with him in all the old car events. Please tell your mom hello and Tom & Barbara are my parents, she'll remember, I'm sure. Keep Jesus in your hearts as He's the only way to have real "peace within" for eternity. To God be the Glory,
with sincere, deepest sympathy,
Keith & Donna (Sanders) Blanton

Condolence From: CYNTHIA HAMPTON
Condolence: Myron, Tim, Jeff, My mom Betty Smith, Aunt Myrna and all the family,
Uncle Neal was a voice I loved to hear when he answered my phone calls. I would talk to Aunt Jimmie when she answered but I really wanted to talk to my Uncle Neal. He loved the Texas Rangers baseball and he wasn't too fond of George Bush when he was the Texas Governor or President #43. I loved hearing his take on life and the guidance he gave me for 43 years. Thank you cousins for sharing your dad with us Smith kids for all these years. His rewards in heaven will be bountiful just from helping out 4 fatherless children plus all the rewards that come from being a dad and husband and community contributor. I will miss him terribly but we will be reunited in heaven when the time comes. I hope he gets a glimpse of our lives until we meet again. I am sure he is busy with Jimmie, Daddy, Pa and Grannie Goodson, Brenda and hosts of friends who went before him. I love you forever in my heart.

Condolence From: BILLY G STROTHER
Condolence: Betty, so sorry to be notified of Neal's passing. It was by attending Scott's funeral that I last saw Neal and that was the first time in a long time. So sudden and so final was his passing I understand. One by one the boys of Tigertown have passed and now only I remain. Such fun we had together and it makes for good but sad memories. The volleyball games, the Saturday gathering at your house to work on cars or whatever we could find to get our attention, the community center dinners and the summer time activities we all shared. The friendship of all of you meant a lot to me and as we all went our separate ways, it was always a pleasure to see any of you, regardless of the occasion.
I truly wish I could be there today for the funeral but other commitments prevented my being able to attend. My sincere condolences to you and all the family members today. Best wishes to you and yours,
Bill Strother
