Obituary for Dorothy Louise Weehunt
DOROTHY LOUISE WEEHUNT, 90, of Paris, Texas went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Saturday February 11, 2017 at Stillhouse Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Paris.
Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors will hold funeral services 1:00 P.M. Tuesday February 14, 2017 in the Gene Roden Memorial Chapel will Rev. Eugene Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
Dorothy was born January 11, 1927 to Joseph Corlee and Carol Alberta Sargent in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She retired as an engineer with Munsingwear in Paris, Texas and was a devoted member of Springlake Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Davey Weehunt; son, Barry Mathis; daughter, Rose Jennette; and grandson, Mike Mathis.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Carol Mathis Coelen, and husband, George, of Richardson, Texas; son, Louis Mathis, and wife, Teresa, of Fredericksburg, Texas; son Richard Mathis, of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Mary Weehunt Goff, and husband, Neal, of Paris, Texas; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as a host of family and friends who will miss her greatly.
