The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marcia Putnam can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I am so sad to hear of Marcia's passing. Marcia was born 4 days before me and her father delivered me at birth. The Walker family were neighbors so I grew up with Marcia as well as being a classmate at East Paris, Crockett and Paris High. She was such a sweet person with a smile as big as Texas. I was so glad to see that she had followed her family in providing health care to the people of Paris. I still remember as a child if I was sick my mom would call Dr. Walker and being a neighbor he would bring his black bag and treat me at home. It has been a long time since Dr.'s made house calls. Now Marcia is reunited with her family and I will always have fond memories of her and her family.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of being Marcia's assistant at St. Joseph's Hospital where she was the former CNO. We shared alot of laughs and I spent numerous hours at her house. I will miss our talks and stories. Walker, my brother, I am praying for you and the family. The last time I sat down with her was at Sandwich Etc. I am so glad to have been a part of her life.
