William H. "Bill"  Carcuffe Jr.
WILLIAM H. “BILL” CARCUFFE, Jr., 74, of Reno, passed from this life Tuesday December 15, 2015 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 18, 2015 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The Northeast Texas Patriot Guard will serve as escorts and pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday.

Bill was born September 20, 1941 in Dover, New Jersey, a son of William Herbert and Beatrice Goedeke Carcuffe, Sr. He served his country long and honorably, first entering the United States. Marine Corps on November 18, 1958 in Dover. He achieved the rank of Sergeant and was in the Marines until July 12, 1968, mustering out in San Diego, California. Upon moving to Paris that same year, he joined the Army Reserve, serving until October 12, 1983 as a Staff Sergeant. He also gave of himself as a member of the Texas National Guard. Bill was employed by the Campbell Soup Company in Paris for over thirty-three years, retiring from the position of shipping supervisor. He was a member of the Blossom Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Ann P. Carcuffe following thirty-five years of marriage. Additionally, he was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Wayne Carcuffe and Johnny Thomas.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Martha Carcuffe, of Reno; a son, Richard Carcuffe and wife Laura, of Norman, Oklahoma; a daughter, DeMarie Floyd and husband John, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; two grandsons, Aaron Carcuffe and Joshua Carcuffe; a granddaughter, Tabitha Roush; a great-granddaughter, Annabell Lynn Carcuffe; three brothers, Larry Carcuffe, Harold Thomas Carcuffe, and Roger Thomas; and four sisters, Barbara Schuttler, Pam Fetch, Joanne Bedford, and Judy Elliot.
