Obituary for Gage Russell Kennedy

Gage Russell  Kennedy
GAGE RUSSELL KENNEDY, 18, of Paris, left this world on Sunday May 18, 2014. Following cremation arrangements by Starrett Funeral Home, a memorial service of thanksgiving and celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday May 21, 2014 in the Auditorium of North Lamar High School with Rev. Ron Smedley officiating.

Gage was born May 3, 1996 in Richardson, a son of Philip Kennedy and Stacy Krattiger Kennedy. A Senior at North Lamar High School, he was known for his talent and abilities in the arts, as well as a love of the theater. A gifted artist, he enjoyed many hours in developing original Anime’ to share with family and friends. The river of his life ran deep; he had the soul of an artist, a heart of love, and arms of compassion to all whose paths he crossed.

He is survived by his mother, Stacy Kennedy, of Paris; his father, Philip, of Kissimee, Florida; a brother, Austin Self, of Garland; two sisters, Nichole Kennedy and Payten Kennedy, both of Paris; his maternal grandparents, Sandra Krattiger, of Sulphur Springs, and Bradley Krattiger, of Dallas; his loving feline companion Spooky; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whom he loved.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
