Obituary for Lucille Fay Dollins

LUCILLE FAY DOLLINS born August 4, 1918, departed this life for a better one on Thursday March 6, 2014, surrounded by her family. Funeral services in celebration of her life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m .Sunday March 9, 2014 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home, with her grandson Pastor Larry Young officiating. Private interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery, where she will be layed to rest beside her husband and infant sons.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Lucille served her Lord faithfully through her church, the Lifeline Worship Center, and when she left this world the angels escorted her into the presence of Jesus, and to be reunited with her husband of 60 years, T.C. (Butch) Dollins, as well as two infant sons, her parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Lucille is survived by one son, Johnny Dollins and wife Darlan of East Post Oak; one daughter, Mildred Young and husband Tim of Powderly; six grandchildren, Ricky Dollins and wife Melissa of East Post Oak, Terry Dollins and wife Dedra of Paris, Larry Young and wife Staci of Blossom, Jerry Young and wife Connie of Powderly, Melanie Simpson and husband Alan of Grand Rapids, MI, and Chelli Morrison and husband P.G.of Lewisville; eleven great -grandchildren; ten great- great- grandchildren; a sister, Cordelia Frye of Moore, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ricky Dollins, Terry Dollins, Jerry Young, and P.G. Morrison; and great- grandsons, Lyle Young, Reece Dollins, Cody Dollins, and Colter Dollins.
