JAMES E. “JIM” ELDREDGE, 83, of Clarksville, passed from this life Tuesday August 6, 2013 at Paris Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Following cremation arrangements by Starrett Funeral Home, a memorial gathering will take place at graveside at 10am Wednesday August 21, 2013 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 7301 E. Lancaster, Fort Worth, Tx 76112, with honors performed by the Hurst Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Eldredge was born June 13, 1930 in Fort Worth, a son of William Lee and Clara Nevada Stovall Eldredge. He was a graduate of Paschal High School in Ft. Worth. He worked for the Texas & Pacific Railroad for a number of years. Ultimately he entered the Insurance business and was a partner in Eldredge, Tuck, and Booker Insurance agency in Hurst. He was a past Master Mason with the Hurst Masonic Lodge. He was also an avid fisherman and lover of animals.
Jim was preceded in death by his beloved Jean; and two brothers, William Eldredge and Ernest Eldredge.
Survivors include a daughter, Jamelyn Westan and husband Rob of Denver, Colorado; a son Tracy Eldredge, of Frisco, Texas; two grandchildren, Claudia Eldredge and Keegan Eldredge, both of Frisco, Texas; a sister Mary Scarborough, of Fort Worth; and his two canine companions, Prince and Shogi.
