GRACE ETHEL DUNAGAN, 91, left this life to be with her Lord on Friday June 14, 2013 in Alvin, Texas. Starrett Funeral Home will conduct graveside rites at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 25, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev. Eric Dittman officiating.

She was born October 21, 1921 in Verna, Florida, a daughter of Henry and Phoebe Hull Thompson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Brownsville.

She married David Lenoir Dunagan on December 26, 1957 in Oneca, Florida. He preceded her in death in 1977.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; by four brothers, John Thompson, Henry "Red" Thompson, James Thompson, and Rufus Thompson; and by a sister, Martha Thompson Tusing.

Left to mourn her loss, yet celebrate her life is her son, Charles G. Dunagan; grandchildren Kaitlynn, Krystal and Jacob; and numerous nieces and nephews.
