Obituary for Bill O'Neal, Jr.
WILLIAM (BILL) O’NEAL, Jr., of Monroe, Louisiana, beloved father, husband, son and brother, died at the age of fifty-eight on Friday January 11, 2008, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Starrett Funeral Home will conduct funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 16, 2008 at the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ, with Joe Maple officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, OK.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Bill Jr. was born December 20, 1949 in Hugo, OK, a son of Bill and Jean Pool O’Neal. Bill had a passion for life, love and family. He graduated from Talihina, Oklahoma High School, and was employed by Century Ready-Mix in Monroe, LA.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Bill O’Neal, Sr., on October 24, 2007.
Survivors include his fiancee’, Karen Landrum Brothers; his children, Jennifer O’Neal-Runion and Josh Spake; his beloved grandchildren, Paige and Tucker; his mother, Jean O’Neal; brothers Larry and Ben O’Neal and wife Jane; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Spake, Ryan O’Neal, Ronnie Usrey, Hank Jenkot, Ed Bullard and Jimmy Wilson.
